in America everything clean must smell of pine or lemon. I'm not sure why this is...
in France clean can be grapefruit scented [as in the St. Marc's anti-bacterial wipes, shown above] or thyme-basil. It can be orange flower, lotus or jasmine..rose or lily-of-the-valley. sweet almond or savon de marseilles (which really is just French for lavender scented). do the French have a heightened appreciation for smell? alternatively, why don't more use deodorant?
and why must all beauty products concerning feet in America smell like peppermint? riddle me that, Batman.

I love orange scented cleaning products. You can find that now in America. I think cleaning product smells have started to diversify here lately.
I love your thoughts on scented products. You gave me a good laugh this morning.
If I could I'd have everything in my home smelling like sweet pea or clean linen. Is there such thing as essence of clean linen?

Demeter makes a fragrance called Sweet Pea, actually! I've never tried it but I have smelled Laundromat, and it's pretty yummy. My favorite scent of theirs is Dirt [probably not what you had in mind, though]. You should check them out!

I certainly hope so! Someone else also mentioned green apple for dishwashing liquid, so, I guess now I'll have both of those to look forward to =)
